The base plate 8 Al is used to mount knuckle feet with M10 thread on the profile end face of size 8 40x40 profiles. The base plate is screwed into the core hole of the profile using an M8x20 cap screw. The offset threaded hole in the base plate allows the adjustable foot to dip into the profile groove. This eliminates the need for time-consuming drilling of the core holes.
